OvationCPANine-year-old Peter struggles with a video assignment he has to make about an important discovery they have made during fourth grade.

This is a daunting task for Peter, given how much took place that year, particularly when dealing with moving to a new town, and babysitting his toddler terror of a brother, Fudge.

Since Fudge was born life for Peter hasn’t been the same, Peter is always helping his parents out with Fudge, who gets all the attention, while Peter gets all the blame.   It’s enough to make a kid feel like a fourth grade nothing! The final straw comes when the pressure gets too much for Peter. How can he get his parents to pay attention to him for a change?

Ovation creates a unique adaptation of this much loved classic! The hysterically funny, best-selling book comes to life of the smash-hit family comedy! Greg Heffley is headed for big things, but first he has to survive the scariest, most humiliating experience of any kid’s life – middle school! That won’t be easy, considering he’s surrounded by hairy-freckled morons, wedgie-loving bullies and a moldy slice of cheese with nuclear cooties!

Presented by Ovation's Adult ensemble, Pillowman is a gripping and wickedly funny black comedy.

This provocative and thoroughly entertaining piece uses razor sharp, rapid-fire dialogue to explore themes such as oppression, control and censorship.

This dense content is dealt with in a very clever and masterful way, using comedy and a form of modern absurdism, to have the audience laughing hysterically at the most inappropriate of times.

A group of teenagers do something bad, really bad, then panic and cover the whole thing up. But when they find that the cover-up unites them and brings harmony to their otherwise fractious lives, where's the incentive to put things right? A compelling contemporary piece, DNA is a poignant and, sometimes, hilarious tale with a very dark heart.

With a harrowing twist and a taste of the sinister that smacks of William Golding’s Lord of The Flies, DNA is a social comment that resounds with people of all ages.

Performed by final year Ovation’s senior and adult students this is one production not to be missed!
